Rest Weary Soldier

www.jigministries.tv/ Weary soldier ready for the battle to end,
Trying to find rest for the wounds within,
As the blood runs from his very soul,
Desiring to hear the final woe. He can not lift his sword anymore,
Just a weary soldier worn to the very core,
Taking a break to catch his breathe,
He seems to think he is the only one left. He is just a weary soldier saved by grace,
You can tell by the look upon his face,
He believes he has reached his doom,
He looks up and see things are starting to bloom. All of a sudden he hears a trumpet sound,
The Lord with ten thousand coming in a cloud,
Riding on white horses to take his kingdom back,
Forming in ranks for the final attack. The weary soldier is lifted up from the ground,
He sees all the warriors gathered around,
He smiles and says finally it's done,
An angel replied "Its only just begun." Stand up weary soldier and pick up your shield,
We got a final battle on Armgeddon's field,
The Lord has come with Glory and Power,
The enemy will be destroyed this very hour. Out of Jesus' mouth goeth a sharp sword,
For He is our King and He is our Lord.
And with it does He smite every wicked man,
And sets up His kingdom upon this land. The battle is over the war is won,
Upon the throne sits the only begotten Son,
Enter into His kingdom just as His word said,
Rest weary soldier, Rest your head.
